Wendy Miller, DO is an Osteopathic Physiatrist. She is now devoting most of her time to providing patients with the unique benefits of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and Acupuncture from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation perspective in the Tucson area. She has additional OMT training beyond what is offered in medical school, internship, and residency including Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and other intensive coursework.
She trained in the only medical school with an acupuncture course and practiced during residency and is completed additional intensive coursework in medical acupuncture. Dr. Miller was considered a non-traditional student. She originally graduated college as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, but when her youngest daughter was in Kindergarten, she started going back to school to be an Osteopathic Physician.
She had an early introduction to the medical world with surgeries as a young adult and though appropriately treated by the standard of care of the traditional allopathic (MD) medical community, she was left to deal with the effects of her condition and surgery on her own.
