The Gathering Point Community Acupuncture is a locally owned and operated holistic health care clinic striving to bring affordable health care to Tucson. As acupuncture treats both the symptoms as well as the root cause of health problems, it is successfully used to treat both pain and internal ailments around the world. Acupuncture, like most medications and therapies, is most effective when used frequently.

With regular treatments patients will see life changing results. The great thing about acupuncture is that there are no negative side effects - only positive ones, such as increased vitality, less stress and an overall sense of well-being. The Gathering Point Community Acupuncture joins a growing movement of acupuncture clinics that treat acupuncture as it is often practiced in China, with patients treated in a group setting.

Using this model, we are able to charge on a sliding scale, making our treatments affordable. Therefore patients are able to receive acupuncture more frequently with noticeable results.

Acupuncture is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine through which very fine needles are placed along the meridians of the body to stimulate the body's natural healing.
Over 3,000 years ago the Chinese realized that when energy (qi) and blood were no longer flowing properly through the channels of body disease would follow.
The modern scientific explanation for the way acupuncture works is that needling the acupuncture points stimulates the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain.
