During my 20 years of delivering acupuncture and herbal care to Albany and the greater Capital Region, I have seen acupuncture go from the fringes of medicine, to the complementary therapy most trusted and relied upon by physicians and patients alike. I have worked alongside physicians, massage therapists, naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, nurse practitioners, and many more throughout my career.
At Silver Moon, I pride myself on providing clinical expertise and professionalism, along with compassionate and responsive care. I know what acupuncture works best for, and when other interventions are needed. If I don't think I can be of service to you, I will tell you at the start. If we do work together, you can look forward to feeling better soon.
Come experience the profound relaxation and tangible benefits of acupuncture for yourself. We are conveniently located in Albany, NY; and are easily accessible to: Albany, Troy, Guilderland, Latham, Loudonville, Cohoes, Delmar, Rensselaer, East Greenbush, Watervliet, Defreestville, Colonie and Newtonville.

Acupuncture is at least 2,200 years old, and perhaps even much older than that.
It has stood the test of time for good reason.
Modern research and clinical documentation has, just in the past 15 years, made significant leaps in our understanding of this ancient science.
From MRI studies by Harvard Medical School professor Bruce Rosen, M.D., Ph.
D., to multi-centre clinical studies on back pain with over 1,000 patients in Germany, new information is constantly coming forward on acupuncture.
The results are very good, particularly when considering the most frequent side effects of acupuncture include an increased sense of overall well-being and better sleep!

In the year 2001, there was one clinical Residency in the country for acupuncture.
The program accepted only one first year resident that year, and it was me.
I had strived for excellence and service to my graduate university, graduated at the top of my class, and was rewarded with a unique opportunity for growth and advanced training.
During those years-and since moving to Albany, NY-I have had the opportunity to train and work with master practitioners and scholars of acupuncture and herbalism from China, Japan, France, Vietnam, Australia, the U.S., and more.
