Our sessions together will consist of a combination of different treatment modalities.
Acupuncture - the insertion of disposable and single use, fine sterile needles into the body at certain acupuncture points, may be combined with other services such as gua sha, cupping, moxa, and traditional Chinese herbs.
Gua sha means to "raise a rash."
It involves irritating or scratching the skin surface over an injured area.
Tools from stones to metal or plastic are scraped along the skin.
Tradional Chinese Medicine theory follows that using this technique, we can tease out and bring to the surface, congestion that lies beneath.

Daniel is an in-network provider for Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield, The Empire Plan, Aetna, United Healthcare, MVP.
We do not accept patients with Medicare Advantage plans.
There have been some recent changes to Medicare coverage and you may have been told Medicare will now pay for Acupuncture treatment.
While this is true, it is also a requirement that the treatment be provided by a medical doctor.
As a result, the services I provide will not be reimbursed.
