Acupuncture is the art and science of healing that addresses the health of the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. This is personalized healthcare that helps improve one's physical health, mental health, and emotional health. Each treatment is individually tailored to your specific needs and within 8-10 treatments you will notice a marked difference.

I invite you to join me on this wonderful journey of healing. The human body is made up of your mind, body, and spirit. When all three are working together, there is a free flow of energy within our bodies, which is optimal. Acupuncture is wonderful for facilitating this! Acupuncture is an effective form of medical care that is based on thousands of years of research, theory, practice, and is known for it's varying positive effects for people, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

People seek acupuncture for a variety of reasons including: fatigue, stress, pain, mental health, Postpartum Depression, insufficient lactation, digestive health, general health and wellbeing, anxiety, neuropathy, inflammation, headaches, and PTSD, just to name a few.
Services
My intention is to offer a welcoming place, one in which you feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to begin your healing journey.
Together we will work towards your individual goals by designing a treatment plan that personally suits you.
Whether it is better physical health you are moving towards or journeying on a path of self discovery, your treatments will be tailored specifically to you and your goals.
My Masters degree in Oriental Medicine, from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, in Gainesville Florida, includes acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Your first session is approximately 1.5hrs-2hrs in length and consists of a discussion that includes a thorough patient history as well as your desired goals for treatment.
We will end with a treatment that is intended to introduce your body to acupuncture, begin to address your intended goals, and allow energy to flow more freely.
No, acupuncture does not hurt.
Very thin needles are used, approximately a hair's width, and they are inserted gently and painlessly.
Acupuncture is beneficial in relieving physical pain as well as emotional issues pertaining to mental health, as well as general health and well-being.
Life is full of physical demands as well as mental taxations, worries, and stressors.
There are a variety of techniques available that will help to bring you back into balance.
Moxibustion is an old and very effective form of oriental therapy, that uses the herb Artemisia vulgaris herb, aka Mugwort.
This therapy is used to move, strengthen, and nourish one's Qi, build blood, warm and nourish the whole person.
Moxibustion is used to treat issues such as back pain, menstrual cramps, headaches, migraines, digestive issues, to name a few, and it also helps to soothe and calm the whole person.
With the use of pain medication and physical therapy, I began to get better but after two months my mobility and quality of life were nowhere close to what I needed and I was depressed.
My husband and I met with a surgeon as I was ready to have surgery to alleviate my pain and suffering.
While waiting to be scheduled for a surgical procedure, I began to read and explore other options and committed to a daily stretching regimen.
Initially, I saw you on a weekly basis and after a few visits I began to notice a nice improvement.
