Point Acupuncture & Apothecary
Acupuncture has been around for over 3000 years. With this healing modality, fine needles are inserted through the surface of the skin to activate and regulate the body's natural healing mechanisms. Acupuncture is often combined with other modalities, including include acupressure, nutritional therapy, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, tui na, Qi gong, and herbal medicine.

Acupuncture can treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. It is useful for treating any disorder which arises from an imbalance in a person's health. Acupuncture is also useful for preventing illness and maintaining wellbeing. The Materia Medica of Chinese Medicine lists over 500 herbs (plant, animal and mineral materials). These are the most commonly used medicinal substances in the Chinese pharmacopoeia.

At Point Acupucture & Apothecary we are proud to provide our clientele with a full dispensary of Chinese medicinal herbs in granular form. Our apothecary allows us to create a unique formula for each client's individual needs.
