My specialty is giving people a break from stress, pain, bloated and foggy, irritable and fatigued feeling of gut dysbiosis and hormone imbalance. This can be very irregular and can cause a generalized sense of overwhelm of having to navigate many changes in our body all at once. By creating pockets of peace and ease in our sessions, we begin to build a foundation of wellness and health for you to breathe, recharge, and reset.

This sets into motion our body's "chi, " vitality and flow, and amazingly, its own natural ability to heal.
Services
Having an unexpected pain, trauma, or injury to the body while working up to bigger fitness and wellness goals is a major set-back to an active lifestyle.
Either an old injury shows up again, or a new one gets worse.
This is to be expected when our muscles develop.
When muscle contraction can change the alignment of our entire skeleton, new muscles or weaker muscles can get hurt.
This is to be expected but it can be so frustrating because right when we start seeing results, or finding that fun routine we like, an injury like this can set back a routine or new and exciting chapter in our lives weeks or more.
Hormones are our body's natural psychiatric pharmacy, releasing chemicals via endocrine glands, in the brain, larynx, pancreas, sex organs and kidneys.
When hormones are flowing, the body is in sync with nature, with the seasons of the body, and can manage stress, pain, and life imbalances with relative ease.
Hormone imbalance, such as hypothyroid (Hashimoto's disease) and hyperthyroid (Graves' disease) deal with more of the thyroid where as adrenal failure like Cushing's disease deals with more of the adrenals.
Backing your health and wellness routine with nutrition is a must if you are balancing hormones.
Endocrine issues are like a puzzle piece, of which nutrition is such a core piece of the problem and the solution.
If you're healing from stress, losing weight, gaining muscle, chronically fatigued, are minerally deficient, or on an exercise/fitness routine, nutrition needs to be part of your program and your healing.
According to Dr. Mark Hyman, nutritionist and public health figure, was quoted this year, "Due to industrial mono-crop farming, the United Nations estimates we have only 60 years of harvests left, " citing that if we don't start applying regenerative farming, very soon it will be "impossible to grow food."
Researching health and the human body through hormone balance and Chinese Medicine proves to me more than Chinese medicine has had it all figured out for millenia, and Western medicine is certifying and continuing to find connections to what already has been established by great ancient Chinese doctors and philosophers.
Many come into my practice looking for a way to sustainably heal every day.
There are certain key nutrients to be able to function and perform myriad body processes- i.e. the 2,000 cellular processes that 300 trillion cells in our body do every second.
Whether you are dealing with stress and anxiety, constant negative side effects from prescription medications, chronic pain, insomnia, difficulties with your mood, environment, or just feeling blocked or stuck in your life, acupuncture works for every patient, every time.
Why?
Because with the right treatment plan, acupuncture heals the root of the issue, and creates wellness for life.
Of course each patient will have different needs regarding their symptoms and prognosis, some will feel better sooner than others with the same condition - a lot of it depends on the chronicity/severity of the symptom, medical history, lifestyle, and many other factors.
