My undergraduate degree is from Columbia University, where I graduated magna cum laude with a degree is Pre-Medical Studies and Sociology.
After graduating, I spent a year living on the Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota working at a health center for indigenous people.
My next adventure was working for a breast cancer education non-profit in NYC for two years.
I was then accepted to a number of medical schools.
During that time I also had a painful injury that was helped tremendously by acupuncture.

Stephanie is amazing!
Thursday morning before my treatment, I couldn't even stoop to get in and out of my car without shooting pains down my spine.
I couldn't imagine that I would be able to play two full days of competitive grass doubles volleyball over the weekend with no pain or restricted movement.
After 17 games and about 8 hours of driving, my back feels great and I feel tremendously grateful!
Thank you so much! -- Emma K.
I had injured my knee from running and was told by an orthopedist that it would require eight weeks of physical therapy at a minimum.
