What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a collection of procedures involving penetration of the skin with different kinds of sterile, stainless steel needles to regulate the flow of blood circulation in the body.
It is one of the oldest healing modalities in the world.
Acupuncture works by regulating tissue planes to enhance circulation, blood and oxygen flow and restore the body's innate ability to heal.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is the art of deeply listening to the health and resources within the body.
At a deep level, all the various tissues of the body "breathe" with the motion of life.
The restoration and vitality of this breath offers a pathway to sustainable health.
CranioSacral Therapy is a light-touch manual therapy performed on a person fully-clothed.
It is a technique for perceiving and enhancing natural fluid tides within the body.
It encourages natural healing and corrects cerebral and spinal imbalances that may cause sensory, motor or intellectual impairment.
I believe that inner work needs the spirituality component in order to keep the ego from hijacking the individuation process.
Carl Jung was a Swiss psychologist and psychiatrist that lived from 1875-1961.
Jung proposed and developed the concepts of archetypes, the collective unconscious, and introverted and extroverted personalities (on which the Meyers-Briggs Personality Types is based).
His work has been widely influential in the studies of literature, religion, dreams, psychiatry, art and philosophy.
What does a Constellation session look like?
FCW is a multidimensional, profound and logical process.
The trained facilitators, Mary Frank and Hunter, and the clients work together to identify challenges and unfold past injuries.
Before the scheduled appointment time, the patient is mailed a questionnaire to fill out with as much information about their family history as they can find.
On the day of the constellation, footprints are used to represent people, feelings or past traumas.
One of the facilitators, holding a clear and open space within them, steps into the designated footprints to allow the feelings represented to emerge.
Janet has weekly availability at the clinic for Art Therapy sessions, which you can book online.
She is also able to do Art Therapy via telehealth, so you can work with her from the comfort of your own home!
Art therapy supports and encourages self-exploration through creative expression.
When we connect with our non-verbal creative self, we give voice to that which may have no words or can be difficult to verbalize.
The creative self is a rich and vast resource which we all possess and can easily access.
