AYA Acupuncture Studio
Acupuncture is a thorough, medically-based treatment system that focuses on correcting energy imbalances in the body. It originated in China more than 5,000 years ago and is used to prevent, diagnose and treat disease. Because of its ability to improve overall well-being, it is a powerful and empowering remedy for the modern lifestyle. A well designed acupuncture treatment is a combination of medical science and artful poetry that resonates within.

I would love to talk to you about your goals for acupuncture in your life.
Services
My hope is to offer you a sanctuary where you are a respected participant on your healing journey.
We will work together to design the acupuncture treatments that will help you discover a place of balance.
My Masters Degree in Acupuncture is from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL, a school that focuses as much on the inner personal development of the practitioner as it does on the outer attainment of knowledge and skills.
I am also a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as well as a Licensed Acupuncturist by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, and a Licensed Acupuncturist by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board.
Now available in two locations, I'm joining the lovely herbalist and acupuncturist Lara Diaz at her office Lutea Acupuncture & Herbs in downtown Asheville.
Located in the vibrant River Arts District of Asheville, and next door to Integrative Family Medicine, I'll be available for you to conveniently schedule your appointments in Asheville.
Acupuncture - Acupuncture is a great way to support your system, and ease your symptoms.
Symptoms are messengers telling us what your body needs help with.
Acupuncture is a tool to establish and support mental and emotional balance.
The use of acupuncture has been shown to effectively treat many types of conditions.
In 2003 the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) released a report called "Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials."
Below you will see a list of the conditions mentioned in that report.
Please note that there are plenty of additional conditions which centuries of empirical data have shown acupuncture treats effectively but for which there is little or no modern western research.
