I offer a broad range of health and wellness services as well as nutritional, herbal, and homeopathic products. I currently serve residents of Monterey County California and surrounding areas, although my remote work via telephone and email is starting to gain traction. Nutritional Supplements for Humans and Pets (my primary product line is Standard Process Products).

Herbal supplements -- tablets, powder and liquid (my primary product lines are Medi-Herb and Evergreen Chinese Formulas). I practice a type of "Distal Point Acupuncture" known as "The Balance Method" developed by Richard Tan O.M.D. Distal Point Acupuncture is over 2,500 years old and is derived from Classic Chinese concepts including the "I Ching", one of the oldest books in the world, the "Ba Qua" or "Eight Directions", and the polarity known as "Yin and Yang".

With the Balance Method, the acupuncture points used are predominantly located from the elbows to the fingers, and from the knees to the toes. I do also use some points on the head, ears, and elsewhere.

Given their successful use by these folks, it is unfortunate that Western Medicine Doctors do not give them the credit that is due.
Acupuncturists do not get trained in Western Medicine style blood work as part of our Degree work, but many Acupuncturists like myself spend time in Continuing Education courses due to its prevalent use in Western Medicine.
The blood work analysis courses are typically taught by Medical Doctors, and the curriculum is very comprehensive.
As an Acupuncturist in California, I can in fact order blood work for my patients, but if the order does not come from an MD, the cost of the labs is often times not covered by insurance.
