Services
I've been a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Integrative Chinese Medicine since 2002.
I'm also co-founder Prana Urban Healing Lounge, a health center based in San Francisco, California.
I've had a lifelong passion for learning about the body and applying that knowledge to my own health.
As a patient, you'll undoubtedly want to know what I offer, how I can help you heal, and the tools that I use.
These are the three key tenets of my practice, and the foundation of our work together.
I want you to feel safe and comfortable as you move on your path to health, and I continuously strive to create an environment that supports these ideals.
I use a specific applied kinesiology method that combines Nutrition Response Testing and Morphological Field Technique to assess the body's condition.
Nutritional Analysis uses muscle testing to pinpoint, with laser-like accuracy, the underlying cause of a health issue, and how to aid the body to overcome these conditions.
I am talking about conditions that, in the western medical model, are thought of as chronic, autoimmune, degenerative, or without hope of recovery.
The Nutritional Analysis approach uses the body's own neurological reflexes on acupuncture points.
Acupuncture works by stimulating points located along specific circulatory pathways in the body, known as meridians.
Once energy is flowing freely through these pathways, healing can occur.
After the initial session I may recommend herbs or whole food supplements to assist in your treatment.
These work gently with the body to bring it back to a state of balance.
Herbal supplements provide nutrients in an absorbable form to repair the body's organs.
An evaluation of your basic health history and detailed inquiry into your condition.
After many years of using nutritional analysis to help clients overcome health challenges like fatigue, chronic pain, sleep issues and "undiagnosable" ailments, I now offer this same service remotely.
From afar, I can test for food sensitivities, toxic substances, pathogenic influences, nutrient deficiencies, and unresolved emotions.
From there, I can recommend specific foods, nutritional supplements, herbs, and flower essences that would benefit their system.
Now anyone anywhere in the world can receive these same fast, accurate health assessments and remedial information by video or phone, for ailments including but not limited to:.
During our initial phone consultation, I will ask questions as to the nature of your health condition, and determine which therapy or method will be the best fit.
In general, chronic problems or those that are internal in nature respond more completely to a Nutrition Response Testing Program, with some acupuncture used as an adjunct therapy at times.
If a problem has been short in duration or is of musculoskeletal nature, I recommend acupuncture.
Nutritional Analysis evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing - also known as applied kinesiology, combined with other standard methods of diagnosis.
