Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most complex of the medical arts.
It is based on theories and observations made over thousands of years about a vital life force that flows through our bodies.
This life force is considered an energy that flows through pathways called meridians, and is similar to an electrical current passing though a conductor.
By manipulating the electrical current, we can change the intensity of light or sound.
Similarly, certain points located along the energy pathways in our body can be used to manipulate associated energy fields.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes the effectiveness of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in treating 43 common disorders, including gastrointestinal disorders; gynecological problems (irregular, heavy, or painful menstruation, PMS, menopause); Urogenital disorder (stress incontinence, sexual dysfunction); respiratory disorders; Disorders of muscles, joints and nervous system, such as arthritis, migraine headaches, neuralgia, insomnia, dizziness and low back, neck and shoulder pain; circulatory disorders; emotional and psychological disorders (depression and anxiety; and addictions and supportive therapy for other chronic and painful debilitating disorders.
Your first visit will be longer (about 75 minutes) than follow-up visits (45 minutes) because your initial visit includes a review of your medical history, and an introduction to various oriental medical practices.
Finally, specific points will be selected for the actual treatment, and you will receive an estimate for the number of treatments needed for your condition.
During and immediately after treatment you may feel relaxed and centered, have increased energy, or feel tired for a time.
If you feel tired, try to rest for 15 to 20 minutes or more.
Monday to Saturday by appointment only.
Ning is frequently busy with her patients and cannot always get to the phone when you call.

Ning will return your call at the earliest opportunity.
Sometimes this means you will be home from work by the time she contacts you.
If possible, she will return your calls between 10:00 - 7:00 Monday through Saturday.
I just want to say "Thank you very much for your magic needles".
I have tried so many ways to control my weight, but felt very frustrated with the ups and downs.
With several of your treatments, I lost 10 pounds in a month.
I do not feel hungry and weak at all.
My skin is lit up too.
Fantastic!
I will definitely tell my friends who are struggling with their weight!
I just want to thank you for your help.
As you know, I come to see you weekly for your "needle magic" for my severe Depression.
I have had this depression for over 10 years and have been on many medications, making me feel worse or drugged.
