Erika Lessey Chen is a licensed physician and herbologist of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Erika received her Master of Sciences at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and is also a Certified Massage Therapist in Orthopedic Tui Na Massage. She is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association and is licensed by the State Board of California and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Her clinical experience includes work at many centers around the Bay Area, including Ravenswood Health Clinic of East Palo Alto, Haight Ashbury Free Clinic, and Charlotte Maxwell Clinic for women with cancer. I have always had great results with my accupuncture sessions with Erika. If you are seeking an effective, comfortable, professional service that won't leave a big hole in your pocket book, I highly recommend her.
In addition to having such great success as a doctor, she has the best bedside manner ever! You can see it in the way that she cares about her patients and the expertise she exhibits.

Services
Acupuncture is a healing therapy that is a branch of Chinese medicine.
The Chinese discovered that Qi flows between organs along regular pathways called meridians.
Acupoints are key points along the meridians where the energy is most accessible.
A licensed acupuncturist-or Chinese medical doctor-will stimulate these acupoints with sterile, disposable needles, allowing the physician to direct the Qi and restore natural balance.
Herbology is the study of plants and natural medical substances used to bring health to individuals.
