It is the insertion of fine needles into the body at specific points called meridians.
These meridians have been shown to be effective in treating many different health problems.
These points have been mapped out by the Chinese over a period of thousands of years, and have recently been confirmed through electromagnetic research.
Acupuncturists must undergo extensive training and pass required board exams by the state of California to become a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.).
The needles used in acupuncture treatments are individually packaged, sterile and disposable.
Acupuncture is the insertion of thin needles into specific points called meridians or pathways located throughout the body.
Current research has confirmed the existence of these locations that have been mapped by the Chinese for thousands of years.
These pathways are connected to our organs, muscles, tendons and bones.
Acupuncture stimulates and activates the qi (life force), alleviating the stress, tension, and pain occurring within the area of treatment and promoting self-healing.
Allergies, Asthma, Bronchitis, Colds, Respiratory Disorders: Acupuncture and herbs efficiently strengthen the immune system.
Cupping is an ancient technique used to stimulate and clear Qi/Blood along the same meridians used in acupuncture and acupressure.
The practitioner uses a flame to create a vacuum inside a heavy glass dome, or "cup, " then applies the cup to your back and other areas.
The cups adhere to the skin through suction, drawing blood to the body's external capillaries.
Using two or more cups at a time, the practitioner moves the cups along the body for a few minutes, sometimes resting on specific acupuncture points.
Raindrop Therapy uses essential oils that restore physical and emotional balance, flush out toxins, and kill dormant viruses and bacteria along the spine to generate health and vitality.
During a session we utilize hand and foot acupressure to stimulate and balance the body.
We recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after a raindrop session as therapeutic grade oils naturally stimulate the body to begin releasing toxins.
VALOR: Balances internal electrical energies, Builds courage, Manages fear and opposition, Builds confidence.
