The Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) is dedicated to fostering expert practitioners of Oriental Medicine and providing quality and holistic healthcare alternatives in Central Florida. The Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) offers a fast-paced three year program that confers on successful graduates TWO prestigious degrees: a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Health Studies AND a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine.

FCIM is duly authorized by the Florida Department of Education to award both a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree to students who successfully complete FCIM's dual-degree program, where the Master's Degree is also fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM). The two degrees will be awarded simultaneously to successful FCIM graduates and not separately.

Our curriculum thoughtfully integrates the teachings and techniques of Oriental Medicine (also known as "Traditional Chinese Medicine" or "TCM") with the foundation of Western medical sciences to produce a knowledge base that is appropriate for the practice of Oriental Medicine in our increasingly multi-cultural and holistically-minded modern society.

FCIM is unique in that this integration of knowledge is demonstrated consistently throughout our curriculum, which better prepares our graduates to meet the changing demands of America's fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
FCIM's mission is to provide a comprehensive education in Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, concepts and practices that is designed to train the individual student to become a qualified and licensed healthcare professional who provides acupuncture diagnosis and treatment, herbal remedies, as well as adjunctive therapies and diagnostic techniques for the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health and the prevention of disease.
The mission of the Oriental Medicine Program is to offer comprehensive education in the fundamental theories and practices of Oriental Medicine while ensuring that graduates are knowledgeable in relevant Western medical science concepts and technologies.
FCIM offers a unique 3-year program that integrates the teachings and techniques of Oriental Medicine with a foundation of Western medical sciences.
The purpose of this integration is to produce a balanced knowledge base that is appropriate for the practice of Oriental Medicine in America's evolving healthcare landscape, where our graduates can communicate and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and properly assess how Oriental Medicine may interact with traditional Western medical treatment to achieve better, more holistic results for their patients.
Since 1998, FCIM has administered Title IV funds under the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program.
Currently, we participate in both Federal Direct Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized loans) and Federal Direct Plus Loans.
We are approved for graduate-level loans for up to $20,500 per year for each eligible applicant.
We also participate in the Florida Scholarship Programs and Florida Prepaid College Plans.

Florida College of Integrative Medicine is a dynamic and progressive school for integrative medicine.
As one of the oldest acupuncture and Oriental Medicine schools in the U.S., our curriculum places emphasis on Oriental medicine technologies (acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc) and clinical practices, along with Western biomedical sciences to support proper patient treatment and integration of these methodologies within the overall health care delivery system.
