Red Coral Acupuncture specializes in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Mark Sobralske, L.Ac, MSTOM, Red Coral's healthcare practitioner, received his training at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, followed by volunteer work as a practitioner in an integrative medical clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal. Following time abroad, Mark started Red Coral Acupuncture in Evanston, Illinois, in 2010, where he has remained, serving the Evanston and greater North Shore community since then.
He continues to make regular trips to Nepal as executive director of Himalaya Project NFP. Mark's expertise is in providing gentle, non-invasive assistance with Chinese medicine that readily complements care from other physicians. Mark is experienced in eastern medicine and appreciates all that western medicine has to offer, and is willing to work collaboratively with your M.D.
He prefers an integrative approach to medicine, stating that a combination and synergy of standard medical care and traditional forms of medicine, such as acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can bring great benefit to the patient's health and well-being.
