We understand you're more than what ails you. That's why our acupuncture clinic provides a holistic approach to managing your healthcare. By looking at contributing factors, like medications, surgeries, and life style choices, we treat the root of disease and not just the symptoms. Our treatments are designed to reduce pain and manage stress related health issues like digestive complaints, anxiety and disturbed sleep.

Treatments may include acupuncture, massage, herbal medicine, nutrition and energy cultivating exercises. Sometimes it takes a team to foster lasting recovery from illness. We encourage open communication between healthcare providers and design treatment plans in a manner that does not conflict with concurrent therapies. This allows you to better manage healthcare decisions and their outcomes.

Let's get you back to enjoying life on your terms. Explore our website to learn how we can be of service.

Mnica has a diverse medical background working in emergency medicine, gastroenterology and traditional Chinese medicine.
She was introduced to acupuncture while recovering from a shoulder injury and experienced a quick recovery by combining acupuncture with physical therapy.
Inspired by these results, she pursued a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncture treatments provide many benefits.
Chief among them is improving your body's ability to correct imbalances caused by every day stressors and disease.
Studies show that acupuncture stimulates the nervous system, causing it to release hormones which reduce pain, inflammation, stress and improve your sense of well being.
Treatments begin by discussing your chief complaint and answering any questions you may have.
We look at your tongue and take your pulse.
These observations are combined with information from your medical history and our discussion to form a diagnosis and treatment plan.
If you enjoy massage, then you'll love Tui Na (two-ee-na)!
It's a type of Chinese medical massage used separately or in combination with acupuncture treatments.
Tui Na combines massage, acupressure, and acupuncture point therapy to reduce pain and tension by stimulating the flow of blood and energy known as Qi (chee).
Qi refers to the force that enables our body's metabolic processes ~ like digesting food, moving blood and breathing.
When we experience illness, the flow of Qi is interrupted causing pain, stiffness, nausea, inflammation, etc.
Herbal medicine, like acupuncture, is one of many tools used to treat symptoms and the underlying factors contributing to illness.
As compared with most pharmaceutical drugs, there are little to no negative side effects.
Herbal formulas are mostly plant-based and designed to address symptoms and the underlying conditions specific to your chief complaint.
They come in easy to swallow pills, tablets, tea-powders, external lotions, patches and salves.
Reducing pain, managing symptoms from the average cold, and regulating emotional and hormonal imbalances are just a few ways herbs can help you.
