We all have a vision in our minds of what perfect health would look like. Maybe you have chronic pain, issues with digestion or your cycle, or emotionally your just not feeling yourself. What you're experiencing is disharmony within the body and mind. This disharmony is caused by a disruption in the flow of energy, or qi ("chee"), in the body. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine work to correct the flow of qi to have you feeling like yourself again.

With acupuncture, we are able to tackle almost any condition, physical or mental. Since this medicine has been around for thousands of years, it's been shown to work over and over again. During a treatment, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points to harmonize the body. The needles themselves do not do the healing, they are just promoting your body to heal itself.

I'm so excited to be on this healing journey with you and to show you the power of acupuncture. If you're new to acupuncture, Alison is the practitioner you need to see! For my very first ever experience with acupuncture she was calm, thorough, and professional.

Most acupuncturists didn't start off as bat biologists, but that's where my journey into holistic medicine began.
As a struggling college grad, I had no idea where my degree in biology could take me.
After multiple jobs in multiple fields, I was feeling a little lost.
I decided to get an acupuncture treatment.
Just one.
And that was the moment I knew what I would do for the rest of my life.
Fast-forward to a few years later (and a few thousand hours of studying), I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Heath Sciences with a masters in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
