Liddell, Elizabeth A
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. and did my acupuncture and herbal medicine undergraduate training at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. The wonderful community of educators at both places continue to inspire me. My style of practice was also formed in great part by my internship at Blue Poppy Institute during my time in Colorado.

I provide TCM-style (Traditional Chinese Medicine) herbal prescriptions while incorporating TCM, five-element, Japanese and meridian based styles into my acupuncture style. I also incorporate five element theory in creating individualized wellness plans for my patients. I use acupuncture and related modalities to reduce stress, improve circulation, digestion and sleep cycles, to reduce pain and to help patients find that elusive sense of well-being that we all seek to have in our day to day lives.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) also works well together with allopathic medicine to prevent, treat and promote recovery from illnesses, and to reduce side effects from necessary medications.

Online consults allow me to see your tongue, assess your signs and symptoms and create a wellness package to be picked up by you or delivered to your door.
Sara graduated from Massage Arts Center of Philadelphia in 2008, a program blending eastern and western techniques.
The next year she trained at Lotus Palm School of Thai Massage in Montreal.
She later traveled through Thailand, learning Thai massage at various schools in Chiang Mai.
Through the years, she's been continuing her studies to help bring clients additional ways to feel better.
In her sessions, Sara carefully listens, feel and observes, to help bring you techniques for enhanced health and well-being.
After listening to you describe your health concerns and goals and reviewing your intake form with you, I will ask questions to rule in or rule out certain "patterns" of disharmony that indicate the correct individual treatment.
I will then do a diagnostic examination of your tongue.
We will discuss my treatment recommendations and make a plan together.
Before writing your formula, I will review any food allergies you might have, your current medications and your preferred method of taking herbs.
Acupuncture has an incredible way of re-introducing the body to itself.
Over the past 20 years I have seen acupuncture predictably improve patients' overall state of well being.
Acupuncture is a modality that allows the body to do what it knows how to do, only more harmoniously and efficiently.
Acupuncture is very effective at taking the stress off of the system, and by doing so it often gets results when other interventions have failed.
