Our clinic's mission is to compassionately and effectively serve each individual's specific constellation of health needs & goals.
We aim to make the process of healing interactive- and often educational- so as to eventually help individuals learn to maintain long-term health without need of external health intervention.
We take all aspects of each individual into consideration: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
We accomplish a holistic, whole-person approach by customizing each and every treatment session.
Dr Aaron holds a DAOM doctoral degree- the highest possible TCM degree attainable in the US.
It includes both rigorous clinical and research components.
To our knowledge, Dr Aaron is the first and still the only practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania to hold this degree (Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Dr Aaron has presented his research on East Asian Medicine's (EAM) role in US and global Integrative Medicine (IM) settings to acupuncturists, physicians and researchers in San Francisco and Washington D.C.
A new resident of Philadelphia, Emily brings a fresh perspective to massage.
Educated at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Emily spent the last 5 years building a loyal practice in Toronto, Ontario.
Emily specializes in a broad range of techniques, including therapeutic massage, myofascial release, prenatal massage trigger point therapy and Swedish relaxation.
She values the mind-body connection and aims to create a personalized massage experience to help the body heal the mind.
Ben's approach is informed by the classical Chinese perspective that disease stems from the obstruction of flow in the body, and that health emerges as natural flow is restored.
He studied integrative massage at the Asheville School of Massage & Yoga, apprenticed in trigger point and myofascial therapy with Cat Matlock, and apprenticed with Andrew Nugent-Head at a bustling Chinese medicine clinic.
He is currently pursuing certification in a two-year somatic therapy course and a three-year program in clinical Chinese herbalism.
Ben received his education and completed his certification as a Massage Therapist at Skyline College in San Bruno, California.
He recently moved from San Francisco to Philadelphia with a mission to create a space for people to achieve healthy relationships with their mind and body.
As a bodyworker, Ben applies the power of massage therapy and his experience in health rehabilitation to provide patient-centered care.
His massage focus includes Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques to improve circulation and range of motion while integrating specific goals for functional movement.
