Services
We are saying goodbye to acupuncturist Carrie Nightshade, who has worked at Minneapolis Community Acupuncture for several years.
Carrie is leaving our clinic to pursue an individual practice which will allow her flexibility to spend more time with her family.
We wish her all the best in this new venture.
We thank Carrie for her ongoing commitment to the community acupuncture movement, and for the care, kindness, and energy she has contributed to everyone at Minneapolis Community Acupuncture.
Deborah will continue to see patients Mondays through Thursdays, and would be happy to follow-up with you.
We treat in a group setting, which creates a dynamic healing "community" within the clinic.
In Asia, acupuncture traditionally occurs in this type of community setting.
This collective stillness is rare and precious in our rushed and busy society.
We use reclining chairs and treatment tables that are in a peaceful open room, resulting in shared energy that can make individualized treatments more powerful.
Acupuncture is a process.
Most patients require more than one treatment session in order for acupuncture to be effective.
There is a one- time $10 intake fee at your first visit in addition to the sliding scale fee.
Minneapolis Community Acupuncture is a member of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture.
Like other sister community acupuncture clinics around the country we offer a sliding scale in order to separate the issues of money and treatment.
Acupuncture works best with multiple treatments, and for some conditions more frequent visits are required, especially in the beginning.
Our main goal is to make acupuncture available for you as often as you need it.
