Our lead practitioner, Dr. Melinda Lei, is a 3rd generation TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) specialist. She obtained her initial experience with TCM from her grandfather and mother in China, both of whom were renowned TCM doctors. She moved to the US in 1994 and has lived in the SF bay area since 1999. She holds both master's and doctoral degrees in "Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine" (DAOM) and is a California State Licensed Acupuncturist.



Via a balanced combination of Acupuncture, Herb, Moxibustion, Cupping, and other forms of TCM, we've had success in helping our customers with a wide variety of health concerns, such as pain on different body parts, insomnia, stress, anxiety, melancholy, chronic fatigue, asthma, allergy, cough, flu, headache/migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, facial paralysis, nerve pain from shingles, obesity, gynecological diseases, infertility, menopausal syndrome, digestive system problem, diabetes, hypertension, sequela of apoplexy from stroke, shingles/herpes/zoster, concussion, etc.

Acupuncture: A pillar of TCM, with thousands of years of history, originated in ancient China.
It is a non-invasive medical system which uses fine, sterile needles to stimulate specific acu-points on human body which activate the body's Qi and promotes natural healing.
It can stimulate immune system, help with pain management, improve overall health, and can be effective for a variety of health issues.
A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that affects your brain function.
Effects are usually temporary but can include headaches and problems with concentration, memory, balance and coordination.
Common symptoms after a concussive traumatic brain injury are headache, loss of memory (amnesia) and confusion.
The amnesia usually involves forgetting the event that caused the concussion.
Head trauma is very common in young children.

In western medicine, headache, also known as cephalalgia, is the symptom of pain anywhere in the region of the head or neck.
It occurs in migraines, tension-type headaches, and cluster headaches.
Frequent headaches can affect relationships and employment.
There is also an increased risk of depression in those with severe headaches.
Migraine: it is a recurrent throbbing headache that typically affects one side of the head and is often accompanied by nausea and disturbed vision.
Cluster headaches: it occur in cyclical patterns or clusters, are one of the most painful types of headache.
