Hilltop Acupuncture
Pain and illnesses occur due to an imbalance in the energy and biological functions of our body. Acupuncture is the process of stimulating specific points on the body using thin needles to improve these functions by promoting the natural self-healing process and restoring balance within the body. An in-depth, comprehensive history and examination is completed to properly identify the root cause of your main concerns.

Acupuncture alleviates many conditions rapidly; however, some chronic conditions are relieved only through a slow, steady progress. Constant communication with the acupuncturist is essential for a quicker recovery. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are a complete system of medicine that has effectively treated a diverse array of conditions for over 3,000 years.

Whether you are new to acupuncture or have years of experience, we are here to help you. I suffered a lower back injury while dead-lifting at the gym and couldn't even walk or stand upright. After the first session with Dave, I was already able to stand up and walk much more comfortably.
Services
At Hilltop Acupuncture, we believe in providing exceptional quality care for each individual.
The physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the body are all interrelated.
Though all our physical bodies have been created in a similar manner, each person has a different story: unique events throughout our lives that shape us, often throwing our bodies off balance.
At Hilltop Acupuncture we strive to formulate a treatment plan specific to you in order to aid you in your journey back into balance by helping restore body, mind, and spirit.
I'm excited, honored, and grateful to begin this amazing journey with you as a partner in health!
You are more then welcome to complete the forms in the office; however, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so you have time to complete them.
If you are on a complex medication and/or supplement regimen, please be sure to include everything you are taking.
The first session lasts an hour so we can review your health history, where you currently are, and develop a treatment strategy designed specifically for you.
Cupping has been a part of Chinese Medicine for over 2,500 years.
It relieves aches and pains, improves circulation, and also helps with respiratory and digestive issues.
I simply place a specialized "cup" onto specific points on your body, and then use suction to draw your skin up into the cups.
It doesn't hurt - it simply draws fresh blood to that area of your body, which facilitates the cleansing and strengthening of your Qi (energy).
The end result is a greater overall sense of health and well-being.
Moxibustion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing and health.
Moxibustion has been used for healing purposes throughout Asia for thousands of years.
The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of Qi (energy), and enhance your overall vitality and health.
Among other benefits, a landmark study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 1998 found that 75.4% of women suffering from breech presentations before childbirth had fetuses that rotated to the normal position after receiving moxibustion at an acupuncture point on the bladder meridian.
