Acupuncture is most effective when received frequently until your health improves. The community acupuncture model allows you to come in often enough to see positive results. L/A Community Acupuncture is a nonprofit organization based in Lewiston, Maine that provides affordable healthcare through acupuncture and herbal medicine.

In 2009, I received a four-year Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
Over the past ten years of practice, I've given more than 30,000 acupuncture treatments and I've prescribed countless herbal formulas.
My diagnostic and treatment skillset has been greatly enhanced by treating patients in the community setting - because I've had the opportunity to treat such a wide variety of people, there's little I haven't seen, and little I haven't figured out how to treat.

Instead of listing all the reasons why I wouldn't choose other schools - I don't want to bash, as there are plenty of schools that offer a good education - here are the reasons why I stand behind POCA Tech.
For the record, I receive no incentives (financial or otherwise) to promote POCA Tech.
If you're a potential student, and you make an ordinary income, this training is excellent and reasonably priced and will not leave you saddled with massive loans.

On-street parking is available, as well as $1/hour parking in the Centreville Parking Garage (also referred to as the Canal Street Garage.)
