Eastern Wind Acupuncture exists solely to provide you with your corrective health care needs. We realize that everyone is unique, and health care should not be a one-size-fits-all-model. Taking this into consideration, we tailor our treatment protocols by using whatever means necessary, including acupuncture, herbs & supplements, cupping, and diet & lifestyle counseling, to bring your body back into balance.
Acupuncture has a great track record for treating; back pain, allergies, migraines, headaches, arthritis, anxiety, stress, reproductive issues and more. Acupuncture is generally pain free. Cupping has been around for thousands of years, in which a local suction is created on the skin. It is used to promote healthy, oxygenated blood flow to an area of the body that is either inflamed, tight.
Herbs have been utilized in traditional Chinese Medicine for several millennia. The formulas I employ for my practice are from safe, reputable, mostly organically sourced herbal companies. We live in a culture that is fast paced, full of stress and short on time.

Acupuncture is a 3000 year old modality, developed in China, that uses hair thin needles to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanism.
Through empirical data, over 400 points on the body have been mapped out, all intricately connected by a pathway of meridians, similar to rivers, streams, and creeks that occur on Earth.
There are 12 main meridians that course the whole body.
Each point on these meridians has a unique function to promote homeostasis and balance within the body.
Just as a waterway can be obstructed or dammed, our body's can become blocked or stagnated.

By employing years of study in diet, nutrition, and supplementation (with vitamins, minerals, Western herbs, teas, and tonics), I've found a nice, complementary addition to the practice of this beautiful medicine.
We live in a culture that is fast paced, full of stressors, and short on time.
A lot of us have traded sustenance for speed, nutrition for a lack thereof, and, consequently, food becomes something possibly injurious, and not as life-sustaining.
By integrating my hands-on knowledge of both Eastern and Western nutrition, I feel like it's another nice tool to have in the toolbox, and have witnessed patients come away feeling lighter, more energetic, and more balanced, with just a few diet modifications.
