Karen Reynolds is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Registered Nurse whose passion is helping clients bring their mind, body and spirit back to a place of regulation, health and wellness. Having developed an early love for the sciences, Karen's first career was as an Intensive Care Unit RN with advanced specializations in open-heart, cardiovascular and kidney related issues.

In her late 20's she suffered from several serious health issues. On a lark, she opted to try acupuncture and both issues resolved entirely. Her professional passage from life and death critical care nursing to acupuncture is atypical but her clients benefit from her clinical and nursing background, which is a wealth of 30 years of conventional medicine combined with 19 years as a Licensed Acupuncturist; including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as Daoist philosophy inspired 5 Element Acupuncture.

Karen specializes in acupuncture to help with pain relief, healing after surgery, women's health, fertility and also for athletic optimization and performance in sports.

There are many reasons why I have a Specialty Pain Clinic option where I use acupuncture for pain management in my practice.
The first reason has to do with need for options for pain management.
A 2010 medical survey on pain found that annual costs of pain-related conditions totaled $309 billion per year at that time in the United States.
Granted, this is a mind-blowingly large amount of money as well as resources spent trying to control pain.
What about the other non-monetary "costs, " such as loss of enjoyment of life, the inability to play with your kids or join your family on outings?
