My motivation in this practice stems from the simple fact that I care deeply about the health and happiness of fellow humans, especially my patients. My formal education in the medicine indigenous to the people of China was from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine @ CIIS in San Francisco, where I received my master's and doctorate.
Since then I have been humbled to learn from and work under the the brilliant and generous TCM doctors Raymond Himmel and Danny Geren, and my very best teachers; my patients. I'm licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and nationally certified by the NCCAOM for acupuncture and herbal medicine.
If you've met me, you know my passion for the medicine is enthusiastic to say the least, and I treat every body that crosses through my door (or screen!) with that energy and care, and am particularly partial to treating pediatrics.My treatments often include acupuncture, cupping, shonishin, moxibustion, gua sha, breathwork, nutritional and emotional consultations, herbal formulas, and occasionally tuina or qi gong.
