Wandering Roots Acupuncture
I've been wandering around always searching for "home." Never staying anywhere long enough to grow deep roots. I've come to realize that I am lucky enough to have wandering roots! I have created family from friends and grown roots all over the world, finally realizing I've always been home. There is another kind of wandering root. The type of root that connects our pain, trauma, and disease to our physical bodies.

As humans, we are really good at hiding these roots deep within, only paying attention to them once they are screaming at us. Fortunately, acupuncture is a wonderful tool for healing these wandering roots once we begin to listen. Education: Master's degree (MAcOM) from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) with studies in acupuncture and Chinese herbs.

OCOM continues to be the top rated acupuncture school in the nation. I am so grateful to have found acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. It has not only improved my personal well-being, but also the health and well-being of my family and friends.
Services
The simplest answer is that acupuncture is the act of inserting hair-fine, sterile, disposable needles into specifically located points on the body.
Easy right?
As the patient, all you have to do is relax and let the needles do the work.
Acupuncture has been used as a primary form of medical care for several thousand years.
This medicine treats the entire body as a whole, with all systems being connected and related.
It is proven to be a safe, effective, and natural form of medicine.
Acupuncture is more than simply placing needles on the body, there is an entire, complex theory that goes behind treating a patient.
Acupuncture needles vary in size and your treatment can be adjusted to use what is most comfortable for you.
Acupuncture needles are extremely thin and are sometimes even more fine than a strand of hair.
If you're used to hollow hypodermic needles you'll be pleasantly surprised by acupuncture needles.
In fact, several acupuncture needles can fit inside one of those hypodermic needles.
I've seen many patients with a fear of needles and feel confident I can create a comfortable experience for you.
