Sarah is a graduate of the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an accredited and highly regarded school. Over the past 19 years, Sarah has continued her education through specialized continuing education classes. Sarah provides a high quality and individualized approach to achieving optimal health and happiness for her patients. She uses a lifestyle approach for nutrition and exercise that is best suited for the patient.

She specializes in preventative care, internal medicine, orthopedics, facial rejuvenation, and NAET allergy elimination. Sarah is a member of both the Acupuncture Society of Virginia and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). 2. I advise you to call your health insurance company for pre-authorization (if needed) before your first appointment.
I do not file insurance claims for my patients, I will provide a super bill receipt for you to be able to file a claim.
Please note that acupuncture is not covered by Medicaid/Medicare.
3. Eat a meal one to two hours before your appointment and drink plenty of water to be well hydrated.
This will help the acupuncture therapy work the best.
Do not drink any alcohol the day of your acupuncture and keep caffeine beverages to a minimum.
