Chinese Medicine of Idaho is a family owned Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic in Boise, Idaho, providing acupuncture, shiatsu massage, and clinical TCM herbal medicine treatment. Mara Bateman LAc and Sean Dugan LAc are both state licensed and nationally board-certified acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine practitioners, with Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Mara's practice centers on a somatic approach, utilizing acupuncture, Zen shiatsu massage, and other forms of bodywork. Sean's focus is clinical Chinese herbal medicine prescription and formulation for internal disease. Mara and Sean both practice orthopedic acupuncture for pain and sports injuries. Mara and Sean met at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR.

They have been learning and practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine together for 8 years. Mara's interest in Acupuncture began during her modern dance career and anatomy & physiology studies. Sean was drawn to Chinese Medicine by his passion for herbal medicine and botany studies.
