In this hectic and stressful world it is difficult to find balance. Stress, poor diet, overwork, lack of sleep, aging and trauma can lead to imbalances in the body which can cause disease and/or pain. The goal of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to help the body return to a balanced and harmonious state. Rather than only treating the symptoms, TCM is a holistic practice that takes into account the whole person and treats not only the symptoms but the underlying root cause of disease.

Whether you are coming in for a massage or acupuncture treatment, I focus on not just relaxing the body and mind but providing theraputic treatments with lasting results.

Martina's interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began when she was a child growing up in Idaho.
Inspired by the holistic, individualized and preventative aspect of TCM she attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA where she received a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine and certification as a Massage Therapist.
Her clinical experiences have included internships with San Diego Hospice, Rady's Children's Hospital, and study at The Chengdu University of Tradition Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China.
New patient visits typically last 1.5 hours and include an in-depth medical history review and acupuncture treatment.
Return visits are typically one hour and include a brief update on progress and an acupuncture treatment.
Acupuncture and Massage combination.
Relax and balance the body with an acupuncture treatment followed by a 30 minute back and neck massage.
Relax and ease tension with a treatment designed specifically for your needs.
Using a combination of Swedish, deep tissue, tui na, and/or acupressure to relax the body and ease chronic muscle tension and pain.
Acupuncture is one of the treatment modalities within Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncture is preformed by using fine needles that are inserted into the skin at specific points on the body to relieve pain and treat disease.
Acupuncture essentially coaxes the body into healing itself by adjusting the flow of energy.
The benefit of this is that there are little to no side effects after the treatments because the body is balancing itself.
Treatment sessions can target both acute or chronic conditions.
