Over the years I have developed several areas of interest in which I have subsequently gained expertise. The first area of interest is fertility. I love working with women as they address this very important part of their lives. There is an epidemic of infertility in this country and acupuncture has been shown in the research to help in a very concrete way to not only help women who are going through In vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Inter Uterine Insemination (IUI) but also women trying to conceive the old fashion way.
I personally have found great success with my patients who are using either IUI or IVF and the natural process. The treatment plan for any fertility process should start three cycles before a woman is planning on starting a family no matter the method. This allows time for treatments, life style and dietary changes to get the body ready for the big changes ahead.
We also find that often that just the treatments, life style changes and dietary changes will allow a pregnancy to happen without either IUI or IVF.
