At Rochester Community Acupuncture you'll receive a customized acupuncture treatment from a skilled practitioner in a safe and supportive group setting while you relax in a comfy chair. We keep our prices low so you can get acupuncture as often as you need to feel well. Community Acupuncture is a social-business model that aims to increase patient access to acupuncture by offering individualized treatments in a quiet, comfortable group setting and fees on an affordable sliding scale.

Rochester Community Acupuncture is part of a growing international movement dedicated to providing affordable accessible healthcare. It is very rare for a health problem to resolve completely with one acupuncture treatment. Frequent treatment is much more likely to lead to relief. Community Acupuncture gives people the opportunity to receive treatment as often as needed to get phenomenal results.

It also creates sustainable jobs for acupuncturists, while engendering a warm community atmosphere amongst patients and staff!
Services
Along with our colleagues at The People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), we work to employ, encourage, train and mentor licensed acupuncturists who wish to follow the Community Acupuncture clinic model, helping to make acupuncture available to anybody in the U.S. who is interested, regardless of means or insurance coverage.
Janeane graduated from The Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in 2008 and is licensed to practice acupuncture in New York.
She is a Rochester native and lives with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
We make acupuncture as affordable as we can by offering sliding scale pricing to everyone, everyday.
Community acupuncture is available for $25 - $50, with an extra $15 intake fee due at your first visit.
You decide what fits your budget so that you can receive acupuncture.
No financial questions asked.
How can we make it so cheap?
Because we treat lots of people!
Please consider how often you need to be treated and pay what works for your budget.
When paying by credit or debit card please consider adding $1 to help offset processing fees.
Please include a note along with payment with the recipient's name and if you want us to mail the gift certificate or set it aside at the clinic for when we reopen.
If you want us to mail it, please include an address.
Note: If you are able, please consider paying a little higher in the sliding scale to help offset PayPal fees.
We will not treat anyone who is sick or symptomatic.
If you are sick or symptomatic, please stay home and contact your primary care physician.
Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most common and dependable medical therapies used in the world.
It is by nature simple, safe and effective health care.
Acupuncturists use thin, sterile disposable needles inserted superficially into specific areas of the body in order to help the body's ability to heal itself.
Over the three decades or so in which acupuncture has developed in the U.S., it has been proven to be not only exceptionally safe when performed by licensed acupuncturists, but statistically effective in an increasing body of scientific studies.
Parking is available in the lots to the side of our building (there is a giant mural painted on building 302) behind building 320 (entrance is off N. Goodman just before the train tracks) or to the very back of Village Gate behind building 274.
If you park behind building 320, take the sidewalk along N. Goodman to get to our building (302).
You'll see the 4-story mural painted on the side with a glass door entrance.
To access the clinic from the parking lot in front of building 302 you must enter through the glass doors.
