MISSION COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE is dedicated to optimal and holistic health. Acupuncture treats the person, and not the disease, and is effective treatment for a wide variety of ailments - from musculoskeletal problems such as sports or work injuries to more serious acute or chronic health issues that include anything from allergies and diabetes, to hormonal and reproductive irregularities.
Acupuncture helps boost ones immunity, and it works remarkably well to releases stress and tension by promoting the free flow of energy throughout the body. As a result it can also be useful for general stress, and has proven quite helpful for supporting detoxification and stress relief while withdrawing from addictive substances. We understand that the mind and emotions along with the physical must be included in any assessment of health.

Jon Fellman began his career in health care nearly 30 years ago as a trainer at a health club after rehabilitating himself following a very serious car accident at the age of 16.
Eventually this lead him to Chinese martial arts, herbal medicine and acupuncture.
He continues to study the meridian based acupuncture of Dr. Richard Tan and also utilizes the Master Tung style acupuncture regularly in his clinical practice.
His bodywork is most influenced by Thai Massage, Tui Na, and Shiatsu.
In 2010 he spent eight weeks in China and Thailand studying with Taoist master Wang Liping, and Thai Massage master Pichest Boonethume.
