Red Root Acupuncture & Herbs is an award winning local & Native Owned Acupuncture Clinic and Retail Herb Store in the heart of Albuquerque's North Valley. We carry over 500 dried loose herbs that we work hard to source sustainably and third party certified organic from local farmers whenever possible. We support many community organizations focused on Indigenous health & wellness, environmental health and sustainability.

Dr. Arlo Starr was a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, and Licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine.
His specialties included addictions, trauma, dermatology, pain management, herbal medicine, and pediatrics.

Private Acupuncture Session last 60-90 minutes and include an in depth interview, acupuncture and custom herbal prescription (paid separately) if needed.
The appointment may also include other therapies as deemed necessary by the doctor, such as moxibustion, cupping, massage, guasha, meditation or exercises.
Acupuncture 3 pack- Prepay for 3 acupuncture treatments and save over $24! Must be used within 1 month.
Cupping Session- Traditional fire cupping technique for stiff, sore muscles, respiratory ailments and relaxation.

The herbs are usually dispensed as a granular extract or raw herbs to be cooked at home.
