While we treat a variety of illnesses and ailments that also don't have an "-itis" or a label associated with them, the main focus of Asian medicine and the holistic nutrition we use is to treat the underlying cause disrupting the body's natural impulse towards homeostasis and bring it back in alignment with true health.
Treatments are tailored to meet each patient's individual needs, so not much preparation is needed.
Our initial goal will be to figure out which organ systems are out of balance and create a plan for bringing them back into balance.
Typically I do this through a combination of conversation and muscle testing.
The approach may draw on acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and, if needed, an individually designed clinical nutrition programs, along with any of the other modalities outlined on this site.
