Services
Acupuncture is a system of integrative medicine that entails the stimulation of specific points on the body, with hair thin, disposable needles.
Modern research shows that acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins, serotonin, and other neurotransmitters that promote circulation and hormonal balance as well as reduce pain and inflammation.
Acupuncture is successful at alleviating and eliminating symptoms, but more importantly it can treat the underlying cause to improve the patient's overall quality of life.

For most people receiving treatment is quite relaxing.
Most patients have stated that there is little or no pain as very fine, sterile, disposable needles are used.
Treatments are available without the use of needles using other treatment modalities such as acupressure, cupping and massage.
How often you will need treatment, will depend upon your individual needs, type of condition, its severity, how long you have had it, and how your body responds to the treatments.
For average conditions, I recommend one treatment at least once a week preferably at least three to six consecutive weeks.
