Acupuncture Advantage
Acupuncture Advantage is part of a popular, growing movement called "Community Acupuncture". Our mission is to make acupuncture treatments available and within reach of everyone. We offer acupuncture and other techniques in a traditional group setting, using a pay-what-you-can policy. What exactly is "Community Acupuncture"?

Beyond our little Community Acupuncture practice, a growing number of similarly-structured clinics have launched across the USA and abroad through the efforts of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), a non-profit organization of practitioners, patients and supporters whose goal is to make acupuncture accessible to all.
Services
WHAT is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is one of the oldest, common and dependable medical therapies used around the world.
It is, by its very nature, a simple, safe and effective form of health care.
At Acupuncture-Advantage, we use only thin, sterile disposable needles inserted superficially into specific areas of the body in order to help the body's ability to heal itself.
Over the 30 years or so in which acupuncture has developed and progressed in the U.S., it has been proven to be exceptionally safe when performed by licensed acupuncturists, and clinically effective in randomized controlled research studies.
In order to make acupuncture affordable for everyone and to allow visits to be as frequent as necessary to achieve the best possible results, we offer a Voluntary Sliding Scale.
Cupping, Chinese herbal Treatments, Electro-stim treatments, Homeopathy, B12 Injections are also available.
Please ask us.
We're reasonable people, we know life has its own plan, people get sick etc.
We mostly ask that you be in communication with us.
If you are going to be late or have decided not to get acupuncture that day, please call or email.
We are happy to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
That being said, if you don't call and don't show up to your appointment, it means someone might not have gotten a treatment that day, the physician loses time and money, and the clinic has less to pay rent.
Also, we really really hate charging that $15 fee.
B12 The form of B12 we inject is Methylcobalamine.
Unlike cyanocobalamin, methylcobalamin is a naturally occurring form of vitamin B12 that can be obtained through supplements, as well as food sources like fish, meat, and eggs.
Studies have shown methylcobalamine is retained in your system for longer.
Symptoms of B12 deficiency include, forgetfulness, clumsiness, brain fog, low energy, depression, hypersensitivity to pain, poor coordination, muscle weakness, anemia, mouth sores, weight gain, constipation.
