Acupuncture Healing Corner is dedicated to helping patients heal with a natural approach based on the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the most ancient healing systems. TCM is unique in the fact that it treats each individual as a whole, instead of by one symptom or problem. By approaching the body as an integrative system that needs to maintain balance, TCM and acupuncture treat the root of an issue instead of just an outward symptom. I had just made a lot of major changes in my life and she informed me that acupuncture could help calm my spirits.
After several treatments the angst began to diminish and my overall state of health had greatly improved.

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine dating back centuries.
Acupuncture can be used not only to treat diseases and ailments, but can be used as a preventative medicine as well.
It can serve as a complementary or alternative option for a range of illnesses.
If used along side Western medicine, acupuncture can help improve recovery time and reduce possible side effects of some treatments.
Acupuncture is a safe and non-invasive way to promote natural healing of the body.
It reinforces the immune system's power to recover safely and effectively.

Cupping falls under the umbrella of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Of course, acupuncture is the most common and well known aspect of TCM.
However, there are many other modalities your acupuncturist can use in conjunction with acupuncture to help aid in your recovery.
Cupping is the term used to describe the technique of using small glass cups to suction areas placed on the skin.
One method to achieve suction is to use a flame.
With this method a flame is quickly inserted and removed with a hemostat into the cup.

I've been a headache/sinus infections sufferer for more than 7 years.
I was averaging about 4 headaches a week and using a variety of prescription medications to help prevent allergy/sinus infections and headaches as well as using over the counter pain medication when needed.
I was constantly visiting my ENT regarding these problems and I also had a surgery on my sinuses in 2009.
Nothing was really helping until one of my co-workers introduced me to acupuncture medicine.
I did lots of researches and I finally decided to do it.
