At 15, Zach spontaneously developed an awareness of vital energy, or Qi, moving through his body and discovered an ability to control its movements through his hands.
Since that age, he has been a lifelong student of Qigong, martial arts, and dance.
He began his formal study of craniosacral therapy, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine in 1996 at New England School of Acupuncture, and started his private practice in 1999 at the age of 26.
