Dr. Yu is a State Licensed and Nationally Certified Acupuncturist. She's had a thriving practice for more than decade where she has helped thousands of patients in the greater Wilmington metropolitan area through Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. In 2008, Dr. Yu received her Master Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (a 3-year graduate program) from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, where she trained with world renowned professors and clinicians in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Prior to this, Dr. Yu had already received her Medical Degree (a 6-year MD program) from West China University of Medical Sciences. She then worked as an internal medicine physician at a metropolitan hospital after her residency. Dr. Yu's extensive background and great experience in both Chinese and Western medicine give her a unique perspective to clinical service delivery.

By integrating the best understanding of the Eastern and Western medical knowledge, she is capable of delivering superior care to her patients for a variety of health & wellness concerns, including pain management, mental health, sleep disorders, digestive disorders, women's health, and much more.
