At Sunshine Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic, we combine best of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the latest research into the technique of acupuncture and the science of herbal medicine. This approach allows us to offer an effective alternative health care for treating not only pain, but also a host of other health issues. At our clinic, we do not separate the body into its parts.

Instead, we use a wholistic approach, working with each individual to tailor our treatment to individual needs. As a result, our acupuncture and herbal prescriptions help a variety of conditions, including men's health issues, pain management, women's health issues such as menstrual problems and menopause, diet, weight loss, infertility, nutritional counseling and more.

Where does disease come from, and how can we effect a true healing? If all we did was to perform acupuncture and give our patients herbs, we would be mimicking western medicine. But we at Sunshine Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic want to work with our patients on a deeper level.

Acupuncture has been used for more than 2500 years in China to promote well-being and treat illness.
In Chinese Medicine, health is believed to result from the free flow of energy, called Chi, in the body.
Illness is attributed to blockages in this energy flow, which can be relieved by the placement of thin needles at various points in the body.
Acupuncture can be helpful in maintaining good health and in treating patients with a wide range of health problems.
Acupuncture may be used alone or in combination with Tui-Na, massage, herbal medicine, or other complementary treatments.
Answer: Acupuncture is an ancient method of medicine that uses the body's energy or Qi (chee) to treat conditions such as pain, dizziness, nausea, chronic conditions, post-stroke paralysis, drug and alcohol addiction, etc. Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile, single-use needles placed in specific locations around the body to manipulate that energy.
There are acupuncture points all over the body, including the face and scalp.
Where you will have needles placed will depend on your signs and symptoms.
Renowned Harvard University scientists, Dieter Manstein, MD and R. Rox Anderson, MD, observed that some children got dimples due to eating popsicles.
The idea that cold can selectively affect and eliminate fat cells without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue was the insight behind Cryolipolysis, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based.
You can reduce fat on multiple areas of your body with the CoolSculpting procedure, and additional sessions may further enhance your results.
When we lose weight, our fat cells become smaller, but the number of fat cells remains the same.
When we gain weight, those fat cells become larger again.
However, the CoolSculpting procedure actually reduces the number of fat cells in the treated areas.
Obviously, fat cells that are no longer there can't get bigger.
And unlike weight loss surgery or other non-surgical weight loss procedures, results from the CoolSculpting procedure are lasting because once the fat cells are eliminated, they're gone for good.
