I am a licensed acupuncturist and offer acupuncture and Chinese medical treatments. A variety of healing modalities are used including acupuncture, herbal formulas, lifestyle and dietary suggestions. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine are available at the Ancient Rivers Healing Arts, Inc. office 1661 High Street, in downtown Eugene, Oregon.

We are able to bill your insurance if your plan covers out of network acupuncture and your coverage has been verified prior to your appointment.
Call 541-221-3282 to provide insurance information at least 2 business days prior to initial appointment.
We do not bill Worker's Comp Claims, Motor Vehicle Accident Claims, United, Trillium, TriCare, Pacific Source, ASH, Regence Blue Cross, Kaiser, Medicare or OHP.

Qi flows throughout the body in pathways called meridians.
These are the lines you may have seen running throughout the body on an acupuncture model or poster.
Many channels correspond to an organ.
The meridians function like rivers.
If one of the channels, or rivers of qi becomes blocked, then the patient is said to have qi and blood stagnation, which results in pain.

She possesses a wonderful ability to really listen, and when I saw her she used a variety of disciplines to address different problems.
Her breadth of knowledge was very helpful as I had both physical discomfort (arthritis) and psychological issues (a series of family deaths).
We spent time talking as well as treatments with acupuncture.
She was very good at answering questions, but didn't force lengthy explanations, consequently I'm not sure of the names for various treatments she did.
