From the East - Take I-84 (the Banfield) west toward downtown, and although you can take the city center exit where 84 meets I-5, you then need to drive through the lower part of downtown which can be congested.
It is often easiest to take I-5 southbound over the Marquam bridge and stay in the left lanes and get on I-405 northbound and get off at Salmon St.
This avoids the most congested part of downtown.
Go east on Salmon St. to 10th Avenue and take a left turn.
You can go two blocks and park at the Smart Park parking structure located with an entrance on 10th on the right side between Yamhill and Morrison.
