When I first began to see Jacob, I had a host of problems, most of which stemmed from a severe kidney ailment.
He told me it would take 2-3 weeks to see any significant results and I was very skeptical that he could do in 2-3 weeks what my doctors could not do in years.
Let me tell you my surprise when I woke up 2 days later and I already felt better!
Two weeks later, I felt such a positive difference that I had to call Jacob to thank him and let him know how great I felt.
I have been to several acupuncturists in the past to treat my chronic pain.

Our clinic now offers curbside acupuncture.
During these events, patients remain in their vehicles while our staff place ear seeds on various acupoints for treating pain, insomnia, or anxiety.
These events are held on Saturdays several times per month, and our Facebook page remains the most up-to-date resource for when and where events are held.
Curbside Acupuncture is free, though there are services and products available for purchase at these events, and donations are greatly appreciated.
For curbside treatment, patients remain in their vehicles for a "drive-thru" wellness experience where ear seeds, rather than needles, will be inserted at various ear acupoints to treat insomnia, anxiety, or pain.

We strongly believe in the healing properties of Chinese herbal medicine.
Using Chinese herbal medicine, we generally do not use single herbs to treat conditions, but consider each patient's unique situation to formulate an individualized herbal prescription using a variety of Chinese herbs.
Some herbal formulas may have from as few as 2 herbs to as many as 25 herbs or more.
From the traditional Chinese medical perspective, multiple herbs work in synergy to create a much more potent and effective formula than single herbs alone.

Q: Does acupuncture really work?
Yes.
Trials have proven the efficacy of acupuncture when treating a host of illnesses.
Many critics believe this to be the result of placebo effect, and while this may be an obvious argument, many animal studies have discredited this theory.
Q: Does acupuncture hurt?
Rarely do patients complain of actual pain.
The insertion of an acupuncture needle is often referred to as feeling like a mosquito bite, but many people don't feel anything at all.
Common sensations patients feel after insertion of the needles are heaviness, distention around the needle, soreness, and warmth.
