I hold extensive training in Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Cupping, Guasha Therapy, Heat Therapy, Tui Na Massage, and Nutritional and Lifestyle Counseling. I am a Reiki Master and currently deepening my study of Medical Qi Gong to further expand healing potential. I often incorporate energy healing modalities into treatments. I maintain a deep interest in understanding the interaction between Western and Traditional Medicines, and use knowledge of both traditional and modern therapies for unique, effective treatments.

The sensations of acupuncture vary widely among individuals.
You may feel a tiny pinch that immediately goes away.
Once the needles are in you may feel a "qi sensation:" a feeling of numbness, distension, swelling, warmth, or aching around the point or along the course of the channel.
Some patients will feel nothing at all.
Your acupuncturist will check in with you to be sure you are comfortable throughout your treatment.
Length of treatment varies widely based on factors such as the condition being treated, length and severity of the condition, frequency of treatments, and willingness of the patient to make dietary and lifestyle changes.
