It was the first acupuncture office in the Grants Pass area when Dr. Doss opened the center in 1987. Dr. Doss has been providing acupuncture to Grants Pass residents for 32 years.
His education includes a bachelor's degree from Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine in 1986 and a doctorate degree from SAMRA University of Oriental Medicine in 1989.
Additionally, he earned a master's degree in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) in 1997.
From 2001-2004 he received extensive training in BodyTalk Therapy, which helps to reveal and heal emotional and spiritual blocks that keep people from optimal health.

You may relax in the waiting room, listen to peaceful music, and enjoy a cup of tea until it is time for your appointment.
You will be shown to a treatment room, typical of what you would see in any doctor's office.
Depending on what part of your body is affected, you may be asked to change into a medical gown and a brief intake history will be taken.
Doctor Doss will be in to see you, discuss your current health challenges, and provide treatment.

She underwent a single treatment for muscle issues in her foot and leg and was so impressed, not only with the results, but also with the fact that it was so relaxing and painless.
She, like so many of us, was not excited with the prospect of having needles put in her body.
In my case, I had a debilitation resulting from an earlier stroke and required at least a cane to maintain balance, sometimes a walker or wheelchair.
After three treatments, I no longer required any assistance and have resumed walking for exercise and dancing.
