I believe wellness is achieved through proper food, sleep, exercise and mental well-being. Provided with the right tools, the human body has amazing capabilities to heal itself of just about anything. If you treat your body with love, it will absolutely love you back. As an acupuncturist, I've been privileged to see many cases of healing, even after nothing else worked.

I have always been interested in the relationship between mind and body especially during the process of healing.
I dedicated my studies to understand the scientific aspect of the mind and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
By both practicing and teaching yoga/meditation, I experienced the connection between breath, movement and posture which resulted in calmer thoughts and the development of mindfulness.
I found myself studying the mind and body connection from the exterior (in books and research) and from the interior (through yoga/meditation).
Is there anything I should know for my first appointment?
A. For your first appointment, be sure to wear loose comfortable clothing and eat something at least one hour beforehand.
Your first appointment will last an hour and a half, with all other appointments lasting one hour.
The first half of the appointment will be a thorough interview process as we discuss the main reasons for your visit and all else relating to your health, past and present.
I will then take your pulse and look at your tongue, two tools I use for diagnostic purposes.
