Katherine Whitmore Chuapoco RN L.Ac MSOM- Graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2000.
In the fall of that year, she opened her private practice in Des Moines. Before acupuncture school, she graduated from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in 1996, and maintains an active Registered Nurse (RN) license. In 2001, Katherine joined the Des Moines VA and has the distinct privilege of being the first Licensed Acupuncturist in the nation to provide acupuncture at a Veterans Hospital, specializing in Pain Management.
At the time of her departure in 2015, the acupuncture clinic was the 2nd busiest specialty clinic at the Des Moines VA. She is incredibly proud of her time serving the veterans.

Allow for 60 minutes for the initial acupuncture treatment.
Allow for 45-60 min for follow ups.
Jin Shin Jyutsu: A Japanese form of acupressure used to harmonize and bring balance to the body, much like acupuncture but without the needles.
